Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily care and to work closely with the care team to provide high-quality service.

Responsibilities include personal care, recording vitals, assisting with mobility, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. Texas CNA certification and a compassionate, patient approach are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Requires Texas CNA certification and reliable attendance.
• Ability to document vitals and care activities accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked.
• Support Mobility: safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record Vital Information: accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
