Job summary

Citadel At Saint Benedict is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The CNA supports residents with daily living activities and collaborates with licensed nursing staff to ensure quality care.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to work closely with residents, families, and staff. A High School diploma and CNA certification are required, with CPR preferred. Benefits are provided; growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State CNA license/certification required.
• Current CPR certificate or be certified within 90 days (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, toileting and moving.
• Provide physical support for daily activities and personal hygiene under supervision of a nurse.
• Turn and reposition bedridden patients.
• Support proper resident diet and record intake.
• Check and record vital signs under supervision.
• Observe and communicate changes in patient mood or behavior.
• Assist with transportation to appointments as needed.
• Keep rooms and linens clean; collect supplies.
• Report concerns to nursing staff and document as required.
• Respond to patient calls and requests promptly.
• All other duties as assigned.
