Job summary

Maria Parham Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Henderson, NC team. You will provide bedside care under RN supervision, monitor vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and ensure clean, safe patient environments.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked.
• Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.
• Documents care and activities per unit standards.

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant Certification

High School diploma preferred
