Job summary

Absolut Care of Gasport is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join a compassionate care team in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The role offers consistent shifts and a chance to grow within a supportive facility.

The position pays $18.11–$22.07 per hour, with full-time and part-time options across all shifts. CNAs will assist with ADLs, basic patient care, vitals, and mobility, while contributing to a safe, dignified environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA experience.
• Ability to lift, turn, and transfer residents safely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Provide basic patient care and emotional support under licensed nursing staff.
• Document vital signs, input/output, and report changes in condition to nurse.
• Help with transfers, positioning, and ambulation using safe techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment for residents.
• Support rehabilitation goals by encouraging independence and dignity.
