Job summary

Avantara Lincoln Park is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant in Chicago to deliver compassionate nursing care and support to Guests, while upholding dignity and respect.

You will assist with activities of daily living, document care, and collaborate with the care team in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment, ensuring quality service and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of practice.
• CPR certification where required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to Guests in an environment that promotes rights, dignity and choice.
• Provides individualized attention to maintain or attain highest practical well-being.
• Assists with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
• Attends to incontinent care, transferring, ambulation and range of motion as needed.
• Maintains skin integrity and prevents pressure ulcers by turning and repositioning immobile Guests.
