In this role you will perform rounds, verify resident identity, assist with daily living activities, and report any concerns promptly. The position emphasizes empathy, teamwork, good health, and strong communication in a residential facility setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a license as a certified nursing assistant.
• Minimum of 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience during certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to relate to ill, aged and infirm.
• Able to work harmoniously with staff.
• Good health and emotional stability.
• Able to deal tactfully with residents, families, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per policies and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions coordinator.
• Make beds and clean bedside tables.
• Keep water pitchers clean and reachable.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
