Qualifications

• Certified and state tested as a CNA in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to call lights to ensure comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair within the community.
• Report significant findings to nurse immediately.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge for smooth transitions.
• Safekeep residents' personal possessions and keep rooms neat and safe.
• Follow infection control techniques and respect privacy and confidentiality.
• Re-teach residents to perform ADL skills and provide restorative care.
• Support residents to maintain hydration and nutrition and monitor vitals.
