Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Mississippi CNA license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience.
• PSV verification from licensing board or agency, if required.
• Current required certifications (BLS, immunizations, TB test, N95 fit test).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Help with mobility, transfers, positioning and ambulation.
• Measure and report vital signs; notify team of changes.
• Assist with meals, feeding and hydration as needed.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, dignity and privacy.
• Observe and report changes in condition to nurses.
• Keep rooms clean, organized and stocked; document care.
• Support nurses with routine care within scope of practice.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
