Job summary

Viera Health & Rehab Center in Melbourne, FL is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time and part-time shifts. You will provide direct resident care under licensed supervision, support daily living activities, and help maintain a compassionate, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from Florida.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 1 year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Good English communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) daily and as needed.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption as assigned.
• Turn and position residents; observe and report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Assist in data collection for MDS and care plan development.
• Ensure adequate hydration and assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Observe environment for safety and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist with other resident needs.
