Qualifications

• Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use.
• Documents personal care given according to facility policies and reports changes in residents’ condition.
• Performs nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, and measuring temperature, weight, pulse and respiration.
• Responds to emergencies calmly and performs duties as assigned.
