Job summary

Briarwood Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will support daily activities and monitor health needs.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting with meals, maintaining a clean, safe environment, and collaborating with nurses, therapists, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care. CNA certification and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Current Certification as a CNA is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with EMRs and health information systems.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care including vital signs and ADL support.
• Taking and recording vital signs (temperature, BP, pulse, respiration).
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment with infection control.
• Collaborating with nurses, therapists, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care.
