Ideal candidates hold a Montana CNA certificate, a current BLS/RQI within 7 days, and a clean driving record with a valid driver's license. Prior healthcare experience and HIPAA knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Montana CNA certificate required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.
• Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Understand confidentiality laws governing the provider-patient relationship, including HIPAA guidelines.
• To be eligible for the Driver portion of the position: Current Driver's License required.
• Driving record for the previous 36 months must not reflect major offenses (DUI, felony involving motor vehicle, suspended license, 3+ speeding tickets or other violations).
• Personal vehicles used for LH business: State law minimum liability coverage limits required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership.
• Communicates with assigned leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
• Performs accurate CNA assessment while taking vital signs; informs stakeholders of abnormalities per protocol.
• Maintains patient privacy per Logan Health policies.
• Assists patient with activities of daily living.
• Documents care rendered accurately and timely as per procedure.
• Maintains inventory and restocks rooms; ensures equipment safety and cleanliness.
• Maintains compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards.
• Works with stakeholders to set priorities for patient care tasks.
• Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedure.
