Job summary

Cura Health is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Cura of Le Sueur to support residents with daily living, mobility, meals, and personal care while building meaningful relationships with residents and the care team.

You’ll work under the nursing team, follow individualized care plans, document observations, and collaborate to ensure high‑quality, resident‑centered care. State certification in MN and good standing are required or obtainable within 120 days.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Minnesota or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire.
• Must be in good standing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Support transfers, positioning, mobility, and ambulation per care plans.
• Assist with meals including setup, feeding, and monitoring intake.
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
• Observe changes in condition and communicate concerns to the nurse.
• Respond to call lights promptly with respect and compassion.
• Complete routine rounds to ensure safety and comfort.
• Follow individualized care plans while supporting independence.
• Build relationships with residents and families through respectful communication.
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to provide high-quality care.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow facility policies and state/federal requirements.
