Job summary

Solaris HealthCare Coconut Creek is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct and indirect patient care under RN or LPN supervision. The role includes daily living activities, personal care, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents in Coconut Creek, FL. This position is PRN and/or part-time on weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Attend in-service programs to learn procedures and meet state requirements.
• Sensitive to patients' physical and psychosocial needs.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Capable of charting accurately in the Patient Care Record.

Responsibilities

• Understands and practices universal precautions with all patient care.
• Performs all tasks on assignment or reports to nurse if not completed.
• Assists in admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Provides morning and evening care including hygiene, dressing and linen changes.
• Provides general nursing care such as positioning and assisting with ambulation.
• Takes and records vital signs and intake/output measurements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment and adheres to center policies.
• Assists patients with activities and socialization on the unit.
• Respects patient confidentiality and proper dress code.
• Assists in arranging meals and feeding patients.
• Responds to call lights and anticipates patient needs.
