Job summary

Majestic Care of Beckley is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team, delivering direct hands-on nursing care and helping residents achieve their highest functioning level while promoting independence.

You will work within a community nursing team, responding to call lights, assisting with ADLs, and supporting residents through admissions, transfers and discharges with a focus on safety, dignity, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Certified and state tested as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to residents' call lights to provide comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair within the community.
• Report significant findings to the nurse promptly.
• Assist residents on admission, transfer and discharge to ensure smooth transitions.
• Safekeep residents’ personal possessions and keep rooms neat and safe.
• Follow infection control techniques and respect resident privacy.
