Job summary

Majestic Care of Southport is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caregiving team in Indianapolis, IN. The CNA will provide direct hands-on nursing care to residents, assist with ADLs, and support transitions during admissions, transfers, and discharges.

This role requires active state certification and a commitment to compassionate care, with day shifts as Full-Time and night shifts as Part-Time available.

Qualifications

• Certified and state tested as a CNA in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to call lights to ensure comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents between areas (dining, lobby, activities).
• Report significant findings to the nurse immediately.
• Assist admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintain residents' personal possessions safety and room cleanliness.
• Follow infection control techniques and respect privacy.
