Job summary

Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in New York seeks caring and compassionate CNAs to join our family. We offer full-time or part-time positions with a retention bonus up to $1,500 paid weekly and access to excellent 1199 SEIU union benefits.

The 160-bed facility is newly renovated and led by a refreshed nursing leadership team. CNAs provide routine daily care, assist with meals, transport residents, and support independence with dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold NY CNA certification in good standing.
• Dedicated to compassionate resident care.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about quality care.
• Able to work well under pressure and in a team.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per procedures and document care.
• Create and maintain a calm atmosphere on the unit/shift.
• Prepare residents for meals, serve trays, and assist with feeding.
• Assist with transportation, lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transfers.
• Check residents' conditions and report changes promptly.
• Measure and record temperatures, pulse, and blood pressure as instructed.
