Job summary

Generations Healthcare operates Bayberry Skilled Nursing and Healthcare Center in Concord, CA. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide quality resident care on the AM shift and support daily living activities under supervision.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Behavioral Health experience.
• Experience with redirection and de-escalation.
• Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Excellent customer service and the desire to be part of a dynamic team.
• This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care to residents.
• Assist residents with daily routines such as personal hygiene, bath functions, taking vitals, meals, bed change, etc.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure safety of residents
• Lifting or transporting into and out of beds, wheelchairs, showers, chairs, etc.
• Report and update records on residents’ conditions.
• Follow instructions from the Charge Nurse/ Supervisor.
