The Lifepoint Health-affiliated Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to deliver essential patient care under nursing supervision, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and prepare rooms in a high-quality rehab setting.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, CNA training, state CNA certification, CPR/BCLS. Six months of acute or long-term care experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a CNA training program.
• Current state CNA certification.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Minimum six months of experience in acute or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
• Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
• Take and record vital signs and document results promptly.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of belongings.
• Answer call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
