Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to safety and comfort.
• Promote independence for residents.
• Inform supervising charge nurse of resident status at shift start and end.
• Contribute knowledge of residents' conditions to care plans.
• Assist in implementing care plans within policy.
• Observe and report residents’ conditions and document observations.
• Assist with safe lifting and transfers per policies.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free environments and perform incidental housekeeping tasks.
