Job summary

Madrid Home is seeking a caring Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA) who will truly love what they do to join our award-winning team in Madrid, Iowa. You will provide direct resident care under supervision, assist with daily activities and personal hygiene, manage supportive tasks, and communicate with the care team to ensure high-quality service.

Current Iowa CNA/CMA licenses are required; experience preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
• CMA: Must possess a current active certification to practice as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Iowa.
• Experience in CNA role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents under supervision of the nurse and the care team.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Assist with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals, and other tasks.
• Promptly answer calls for assistance and provide compassionate care per care plan.
• Document resident interactions and communicate with team.
