Job summary

Junction Point Post Acute in Herington, KS is seeking a compassionate CNA or CMA to join our small-town team. You will provide routine nursing care under supervision and help residents feel at home, working closely with the Charge Nurse and leadership.

This position offers a 2PM-10PM shift, opportunities for growth, and a supportive culture where staff are valued. You must be enrolled in a nursing assistant program or licensed, with at least 6 months of CNA experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in nursing assistant program or have a CNA license.
• Minimum of 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience while enrolled in a CNA class.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident identity before delivering care or serving meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions promptly.
• Make beds and keep bedside tables clean and organized.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within residents' reach.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
