Job summary

Highland Park Care Center in Alliance, NE, seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide resident-focused personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily living activities. You will assist with mobility, document vital signs, and help promote a safe, respectful environment for each resident.

You will support meals, monitor nutrition, and maintain infection control while collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure dignity and comfort for all residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Nursing Assistant training program and compliance with applicable certification requirements.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development through educational programs, in-service training, and continuing learning opportunities.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative healthcare team while maintaining a resident-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-focused personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and daily living activities.
• Obtain and document vital signs as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper techniques and equipment.
• Support residents during meals, snacks, and nutritional supplement times while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Accurately document resident care, observations, and behavioral changes according to facility policies.
• Properly handle, transport, and dispose of linens, supplies, and other materials while maintaining infection control standards.
• Foster meaningful interactions that promote resident dignity, comfort, and emotional well-being.
