Job Description

The Southern Utah Veterans Home is seeking motivated$12/individuals to participate in our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Class. This program is designed to provide comprehensive training and hands‑on experience to prepare students for a rewarding career in long‑term care and healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Attend and actively participate in all classroom and clinical training sessions.
• Learn and demonstrate basic nursing skills including patient care, hygiene assistance, and vital signs monitoring.
• Provide compassionate care to veterans and residents under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and safe learning environment.
• Complete all required coursework, exams, and clinical hours to meet certification requirements.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
