Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with daily living activities and personal care.
  • Providing support during exercise routines and other fitness-related activities.
  • Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations.
  • Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Supporting medication management and safety monitoring.
  
  
• Monitor and record vital signs, as well as any changes in the client's condition
• Provide mobility assistance and support for safe transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes or concerns to your supervisor
• Adhere to all healthcare and safety regulations and guidelines

Qualifications:

Must be a CNA or a HHA with a 75 hour course certificate to qualify

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in healthcare, nursing, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in providing care to elderly or disabled individuals in a home or healthcare setting
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Current TB test
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and transfer clients who require assistance with mobility
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach to perform various tasks
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
