Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, LPN/LVN, or other licensed medical professional. The CNA performs various individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary for caring for patients' personal needs and comforts.

Minimum Requirements

• Preferably one year of experience as a CNA within the last three years.
• Graduation from a certified nursing assistant program with proper documentation and active certification in good standing.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clerical functions.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate as per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
