Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the supervision of a RN, LPN/LVN, or other licensed medical professional. Responsibilities include providing individualized patient care activities and non-professional services necessary for patient comfort and needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Prefer one year experience as a CNA within the last three years
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program with proper documentation and active certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clerical functions
• Current CPR certification if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation
• Meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old
