Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will assist with daily living activities and monitor health changes in collaboration with the care team.

The role emphasizes meaningful engagement, emotional support, and high-quality resident care, with a focus on dementia care when applicable. Previous experience is preferred but not required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting preferred.
• Experience with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure quality care.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
