Good Samaritan in Tyndall, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long‑term care setting under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and participate in wellness and recreational programs.
Requirements include a CNA certification (to be obtained within four months of hire) and a minimum age of 16. Prior long-term care experience is preferred and competency testing is required annually.

Shift: 8 Hours – Varied Shifts (Part time)
Weekly Hours: 16.00
Salary Range: $19.00 – $25.50
Pay Info: Eligible for a $2,500 Sign on Bonus!
The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as a caregiver to residents during the scheduled work period in long‑term care. She/he provides resident‑centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) while following infection prevention and control policies and personal protective equipment (PPE) use. The NA assists with basic health‑care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, vital‑sign monitoring, psychosocial support, and range‑of‑motion exercises. The NA also participates in food preparation, dining, housekeeping, laundry, wellness, recreational programs, and may serve on committees or task forces as needed.
