The Certified Nursing Assistant provides routine nursing and personal care for residents, ensuring high-quality resident care. This role involves working effectively with team members, managing resources, and focusing on quality care delivery.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in and receive resident reports at start/end of shift.
• Provide personal/nursing care according to resident care plans.
• Facilitate and conduct activities.
• Respond to resident requests and needs in a respectful manner.
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment.
• Assist in preparing residents for activities.
• Ensure all care is provided respectfully and with dignity.
• Perform basic nursing procedures as required.
• Create a safe, comfortable environment and meet resident needs.
• Ensure timely and compassionate food service.
• Maintain resident documentation.
• Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Attend training and educational programs.
• Perform other activities as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter and pass the program within 120 days.
• Understanding of resident care procedures and standards.
