CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Part-Time) - Walnut Ridge

Walnut Ridge is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide outstanding resident care and physical support in our residents' homes. The ideal candidate responds to both emotional and physical needs with a big heart.

This is a Part-Time opportunity to join our team and support our residents!

We have partnered with Tapcheck, a mobile app that allows team members to access their earned wages instantly, promoting financial empowerment and flexibility.

Responsibilities
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents' information in compliance with HIPAA
  • Assist with daily activities such as turning, ambulating, and delivering food and beverages
  • Support personal hygiene needs, including bathing and providing bedpans
  • Deliver adjunct care like ice packs, dressings, and soothing baths post-therapy
  • Monitor and record food intake, urinary, and fecal outputs for medical staff
  • Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and nurses
  • Follow infection control procedures
  • Know fire and emergency procedures and report safety issues
Requirements
  • Passion for caring for the senior population
  • High School diploma or GED
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association) preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the team
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills with health professionals
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations professionally
