Hospice of North Alabama is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our Florence, AL team. This Hospice Aide role provides 1:1 patient care, comfort, and dignity during a critical time in life. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with duties across Florence and Lauderdale/Colbert counties.

Applicants should have at least six months of relevant experience, CPR certification, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Competenze

• Meet the training requirements of the state of practice.
• Minimum of six months experience including providing personal care.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Complete a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, 16 of the 75 hours of classroom must be complete prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Understands hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill.
• Ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Ability to handle death/dying.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good Organizational Skills.
