Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm

How you will contribute

You will make a difference in our patient’s lives by coordinating with the assigned nurse to provide safe patient care and report on the patient’s condition. Your duties include performing personal care, taking vitals, communicating with families, and other tasks as assigned. You will travel between patients and work as part of an interdisciplinary team supporting families and patients during their end-of-life journey. Qualifications

• Meet the training requirements of the state of practice
• Minimum of six months experience providing personal care
• At least 18 years old
• Complete at least 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, with 16 hours of classroom training completed prior to 16 hours of practical training
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and comfort providing specialized care to the terminally ill
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle death and dying
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
