Coverage area: Morgan and Cullman counties
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)
How you will contribute (not limited to):
- Coordinate with the nurse to provide safe patient care and report on patient conditions
- Perform personal care, take vitals, communicate with families
- Travel between patients and work as part of an interdisciplinary team supporting families and patients at end-of-life

Qualifications
- Meet state training requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience including personal care
- At least 18 years old
- Complete 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training (16 hours prior to practical training)
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care
- Understanding of hospice philosophy; comfortable providing care to terminally ill
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to handle death/dying
- Strong communication and organizational skills
