CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Full-Time)(2nd shift) - Preston House

Preston House is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide outstanding resident care and physical support in a caring and professional environment. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, offering compassionate care that addresses both emotional and physical needs of residents.

This is a Full-Time position on 2nd shift, working with a supportive team.

Responsibilities
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
  • Assist with daily activities such as turning, ambulating, and delivering food and beverages
  • Support personal hygiene needs, including bathing and providing bedpans
  • Provide adjunct care like delivering ice packs or assisting with therapy baths
  • Monitor and record food and fluid intake, urinary and fecal output
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses
  • Follow infection control protocols
  • Understand fire and emergency procedures and report safety issues
Minimum Requirements
  • Passion for caring for seniors
  • High school diploma or GED
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and residents
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations professionally
