CNA Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (36 hours per week)

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the supervision of a registered nurse. They have full access to patient health information and may access medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to their responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required, unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for NC.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must have full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
