Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) at the GSS SD Tyndall Center in Tyndall, SD. You will provide resident-centered care under RN supervision, assist with daily living activities, and contribute to infection control and safe care planning.

This full-time evening-shift role offers 40 hours per week, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and benefits including a 401(k) with employer match and paid time off from day one.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of an RN.
• Assists with daily living activities including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and other basic care.
• Performs tasks to support infection control and uses PPE as required.

Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan. Considered a member of the nursing team and is expected to know, and will be held accountable for, following infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use.
