The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. They have full access to patient health information and may have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Shift Details

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Shift: FT Day 7 am-7 pm | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for North Carolina.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
