Job summary

Scenic Living Communities in Iowa Falls, IA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care in a nursing home setting, helping residents achieve or maintain optimal physical, mental and emotional well-being. Full-time or part-time opportunities available; evening shifts from 2pm to 10pm.

You will follow the care plan, assist with daily living activities, document care accurately, and report changes promptly to the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• Completed an approved CNA training program and passed competency examinations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident's quality of care and quality of life
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan
• Completes documentation of resident care as assigned
• Reports changes in resident's condition immediately to the Charge Nurse
• Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned
• Follows and upholds policies and procedures with a special focus on safety policies and procedures while performing personal and nursing care for residents
• Follows infection control guidelines
• Observes residents' rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality, thereby helping to providing quality care and a quality life to each resident
• Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, Director of Nursing and/or the Executive Director

Job Location: Scenic Living Communities - IOWA FALLS, IA 50126, Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Scenic Living Communities is a continuing care retirement community in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Scenic Living Communities offers several levels of living including independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care.

Shifts

We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.

Evenings: 2pm-10pm

Role
