Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for West Bend Nursing & Rehabilitation in South Bend, IN. The role offers Full-Time Days and Part-Time Evenings with a focus on compassionate elder care and resident well-being.

As a CNA, you will provide daily life assistance, engage residents with meaningful activities, and collaborate with nursing staff to deliver coordinated care. Training and career growth are available within ASC Pathways.

Qualifications

• Valid and current CNA certification in Indiana.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide assistance with mobility including transferring and repositioning to promote independence.
• Assist residents during mealtimes, ensuring proper nutrition intake and accommodating dietary needs.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in fostering a warm and supportive environment where the resident’s well-being is prioritized.
