Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a part-time CNA in Indiana to provide compassionate daily care for residents. The role emphasizes companionship, dignity, and individualized attention, working closely with nursing staff to deliver safe, respectful support in a homelike setting.

The successful candidate will hold an active Indiana CNA certification, perform routine ADL assistance, and help promote residents’ comfort, mobility, and nutrition while contributing to a supportive team

Qualifications

• Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting with mobility.
• Passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Collaborate with nursing and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote independence.
• Support residents during mealtimes, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' well‑being.

Responsibilities:

Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in fostering a warm and supportive environment where the resident's well-being is prioritized. From assisting with activities of daily living to providing companionship and reassurance, you play a key part in creating a homelike environment that values dignity, respect, and individualized attention of each resident.

• Provide companionship and emotional support creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere.
