We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team! This position is PRN / Per Diem, with 12-hour shifts.

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50-bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32-bed SNF providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly environment where you can truly get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in patient care by documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Utilizes infection control procedures, basic nutrition, and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds appropriately.

Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
  • Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
  • BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of hire.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
  • Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications related to job functions.
  • Free from illegal drug use and effects of substance abuse in the workplace.

Posted Total Compensation

The wage range for this role is estimated between $21.00 to $23.65 per hour. Compensation depends on factors such as skills, experience, education, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
