Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Boise, part of Vibra Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the night shift to support our 40-bed critical care hospital in Boise, ID. You will assist licensed staff in daily living activities and maintain a clean, patient-centered environment.

This full-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and 12-hour shifts, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of Nurse Aide experience or equivalent in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid Nursing Assistant certification as applicable in the state of employment required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in patient care, including activities of daily living, personal hygiene and grooming, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills.
• Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of date of hire.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
