Vibra Hospital of Northern California in Redding, CA is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time day shifts (12-hour). You will assist licensed nurses, document daily living activities, and help maintain a safe patient environment while meeting infection control standards.

Required are a CNA certification, BLS within six months, and at least a high school diploma with two years of related experience. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50 bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32 bed SNF providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of date of hire.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Posted Total Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current (hourly or annual) range is $23.00/hr to $26.43/hr
