Job summary

The Orchards in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in an Assisted Living and Skilling Nursing setting. You will assist with daily care tasks, help with mobility, and ensure a safe, supportive environment.

Ideal candidates hold a California CNA certification, have strong English communication skills, and bring customer service experience to interact with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Competency Program, with current certification in California.
• Experience with customer service is highly preferred.
• Required strong communication skills and the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work in a healthcare and CCRC environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Assist with transfers, transports, and escorts as needed.
• Keep rooms safe and orderly, change bed linens and make beds.
• Assist with meal service in the dining room and maintain a clean living space.
• Engage residents in activities to enrich their lives and work in Skilled Nursing when required.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising. You may assist residents with transfers, transports, and escorts as needed. You will keep rooms safe and orderly, this may include changing bed linens and making beds. The CNA takes a holistic approach to meet resident needs including assisting with meal service in the dining room, maintain clean and organized living space and engaging the resident in activities that enrich their lives. As a CNA, you are required to work in Skilled Nursing when needed.
