Position Description

As a CNA, you will provide routine nursing care following established policies to ensure high-quality resident care, under the supervision of nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Certification as a CNA
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a willingness to handle residents at various maturity levels

Responsibilities

• Prepare residents for activities, therapy, visits, and religious services, including transportation
• Respond promptly to call lights
• Participate in training and meetings
• Assist with hygiene and bathing
• Follow infection control procedures
• Document required information each shift
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior
• Protect residents' rights and resolve concerns according to standards
