Job summary

Ocean Meadows Senior Living in Clinton, CT is seeking a part-time CNA to support memory-impaired residents with daily living activities, meals, and personal care in a respectful, in-person setting.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, feeding when needed, maintain clean living conditions, complete reports promptly, and follow all guidelines; prior long-term care is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA Certification is required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Computer knowledge and basic tech skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and daily living activities, including meals and feeding when needed.
• Provide care to residents to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity.
• Maintain clean living conditions for residents and report any concerns.
• Complete reports and records in a timely manner per guidelines.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Nursing Director and Administrator.

• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and feeding them if necessary.
• Perform ADLs such as bathing, dressing, serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, positioning, etc.
• Maintain clean living conditions for residents.
• Ensure all reports and records are completed in a timely manner.
• Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
