Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Sign-On Bonus Available

Join Gurwin Healthcare System as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and enjoy a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time and $1,250 for part-time positions.

Position Details

We are seeking dedicated CNAs to provide exceptional care in our comprehensive healthcare facility located on a 36-acre campus in Commack, NY. This role offers opportunities for career growth and a dynamic work environment.

Pay Range

Base pay ranges from $25.31/hr to $27.84/hr. Actual compensation will depend on skills and experience.

Job Shifts
  • Day shift: 7:00am - 3:15pm
  • Evening shift: 3:00pm - 11:15pm
Qualifications
  • Current certification in New York State Nurse Aide Registry (valid and active).
  • No findings or convictions related to resident abuse, mistreatment, exploitation, neglect, or misappropriation of property.
  • Preferred: One year of long-term care experience and CPR certification.
Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including:

  • Bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, hair and nail care, and other personal hygiene tasks.
  • Toileting, including bowel and bladder training, and assisting with meals and hydration.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of resident areas and assisting with admission/discharge procedures.
  • Responding to call lights, observing and reporting changes in resident conditions, and recording vital signs and other data.
