To qualify for KARE, you'll need...

• A High School Diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience/training, or equivalent
• CNA license
• Ability to lift at least 51 lbs and assist residents physically
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience with residents with memory impairment (if assigned to memory care)
• Ability to pass GCHEXS and drug screening
• Valid TB test and BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escorting, laundry, and daily activities
• Following resident care plans
• Providing emotional and social support
• Supporting dining staff and assisting in the dining room
• Being familiar with emergency procedures
• Maintaining professionalism with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues
