Position Overview

CNAs provide personal and nursing care, under the direction of a licensed nurse. State certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and carry out personal care duties
• Report residents' symptoms and progress
• Notify changes in residents' conditions
• Follow care plans and monitor performance
• Respond promptly to residents' requests
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)

Qualifications

• Minimum age 17; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Employment Certificate/Permit for 17-year-olds
• Active CNA registration with no violations
• Experience in geriatric settings preferred
• Good communication skills
• Physical stamina
• Ability to perform tasks to standards
